Since 2005 A|I|DATA has been providing multiple levels of service from utility marking in support of excavation and construction activities to full utility investigations including utility mapping and test holes in support of detailed engineering and design.
The vast majority of underground facilities on the site are not marked by the local One Call system. When marking utilities ahead of construction, A|I|DATA helps contractors to avoid costly utility damages and unplanned outages at this “mission critical” facility.
When engineers and designers are looking to know what’s underground for a specific architectural/engineering project, A|I|DATA digs in deep with a thorough investigation of the underground utilities within the area of interest. We first provide utility designating at Quality Level B, which gives the design team the horizontal positions of potentially affected utilities. Once potential conflicts are identified A|I|DATA provides air/vacuum excavation on specific utilities so that constructible designs can be created without the fear of costly construction delays, change orders and damages to mission critical facilities.
